Galaxy Note 5: release date, price, specification, features etc.

Rumor mills just gave fabulous news to galaxy lovers all around the world. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is all set to have a great launch on August 13th if the rumors are to be believed. Here are some features that can be expected to be seen in the Galaxy Note 5.

  1. Display

The predecessor Note 4 had a sizeable 5.7 inch screen with 1440×2560 resolution. The display was not the best and also ate too much of battery making Galaxy Note 4 owners to run to the charging point every few hours. So we wish the Galaxy Note 5 is devoid of a 4k display which will worsen the battery draught condition. The present display proportions are fair enough and we wish to Samsung will stick to that.Galaxy Note 5.

But we also heard rumors about Samsung giving an order for flexi screens to the tune of 8 million to a South Korean display manufacturer. If that be true we will kill to have our hands on the flexible screen devices.

  1. Wireless charging

Smartphone users all over the world want their devices to go wire free and that includes wire free charging. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 did not come with wireless charging but there are high hopes for the Note 5 to come with wireless charging.

  1. Hardware specs

The device will be powered by a Qualcomm 805 chipset of the top line along with Quad-core processor of 2.7 Ghz. A 3GB RAM can be expected although a higher 4GB RAM is also highly expected. Rumors indicate the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to be equipped with a 16Mp rear camera. It will be the first of its kind to have a 1μm pixel sensor which will add more clarity and definition to the images.

  1. Better use of stylus

The stylus or the ‘S’ pen is definitely a great toy to work with on the Galaxy Note 5. But the Galaxy Note 4 with limited features and uses failed to put it to great use. We expect the Galaxy Note 5 to be enabled with a whole new range of features designed exclusively with the S pen in mind.

  1. Fingerprint scanner

The Samsung Galaxy S6 had the finest fingerprint scanner around. The Note 4 however failed to replicate the same and hence ended having a mediocre fingerprint scanner. What we wish Samsung will do is just to transfer the fingerprint scanner of Galaxy S6 to Galaxy Note 5 so that we have the best of both worlds.

  1. Impressive premium design

Leaked images hint that the Galaxy Note 5 will feature a premium design on the lines of the Galaxy S6. The design will obviously be bigger but will be nothing like too huge as the bezels and the corners being whipped to make the device look tight-fitting. The metal frame of 5.7 inches will be neat and a thing of beauty to hold in your hands. We do hope Samsung to adhere to its thinner and lighter motto as it has been with previous versions of Note series.

Come August, complete details about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be out putting end to all speculations and rumors. Until then we have to wit admiring the leaked HD images and the specs that sounds like fantasy.
